Over 130 Valley employees, friends, and family showed up to enjoy the 24 vehicles and hotrods on display. The event offered some family fun for everyone and a chance to highlight what members of our Valley family can do when we aren’t on a job site.
The weather was on our side and stayed clear all day. There was a lot of picnic food – burgers, hotdogs, and pastries.
Between car-related raffle giveaways, you could see people smiling and laughing in conversation around the parking lot.
Travis Dahlke deserves a special spotlight of commitment. While driving his vehicle across the Everett Trestle bridge on the way to the show, he lost the ignition box for his ride. Nevertheless, he didn’t let that stop him. He had his ride towed to the event and it was there on display.
Our goal with the car show was to have an event for our team that was different from our traditional golf or baseball events. We wanted to show off some of the cool hobbies and work our people do when they’re not on the job. And we’re really happy with how it turned out.
We’re planning on holding our 2nd annual car show the same time next year. Bring along your ride and your family or friends.
We look forward to seeing you there.
