Valley Electric thanks Jay Connolly, Seattle Public Schools Construction Career Connected Learning Coordinator, for inviting our Electrical Superintendents Josh Curry, Jason Jones, Marty Radke, and our VP of Field Operations, Jamie Stuart, to the Interagency Academy. Josh, Jason, and Marty gave the students firsthand experience about the electrical industry, including how the students could enter the electrical trade upon graduation. Jamie discussed the opportunities at the Puget Sound Electrical Joint Apprenticeship and Training Committee (JATC), and International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) Local Union #46. Valley continues to support students in making the transition into the construction trades after their high school graduation, with the hope of becoming future members of the IBEW and the construction industry.
