Seattle-Tacoma Airport International Arrivals Facility

A progressive design build project, the new 571,000 square foot International Arrivals Facility (IAF) at SeaTac International Airport is a landmark project for the Port of Seattle. It features an iconic aerial passenger walkway spanning over 900 feet across and 85 feet above the Concourse A taxiway. Once complete, the project will nearly double the international capable gates from 12 to 20. This increases the current international passenger capacity to 2600 per hour and reduces the minimum passenger connection time from ninety to seventy five minutes. This upgrade from the existing 1970’s era arrivals facility will re-invigorate SeaTac International Airport as a hub for international travelers and welcome these travelers and visitors to our region with improved passenger experiences and modern technologies.

Touted as the most complex capital development project in the history of SeaTac Airport, Valley Electric is proud to have served as the design build electrical and low voltage systems contractor for this critical long span project for Seattle Tacoma International Airport and the Port of Seattle.
