West Point Wastewater Treatment Plant

This plant covers approximately 32 acres of the Puget Sound Region next to the 534 acre Discovery Park.  The plant treats wastewater and storm water, for approximately 1.4 million people in Seattle, north King County, south Snohomish County and areas of Lake Washington.

This was built for the Municipality of Metropolitan Seattle and is the largest wastewater treatment plant in the region.  CH2M Hill was the architect.

Valley was responsible for the replacement of existing switchgear, new service transformer and motor control equipment and conversion from the existing plant control system to an ovation control system.
