The Forest Ridge Modernization project included a new two story 21,750 square foot classroom building for high school science laboratories and a 12,350 square foot student chapel which seats 250 students for religious services.
This project featured improvements to traffic/pedestrian circulation by expanding the existing driveway to designate a parent drop off/pick up lane and turn around at the south portion of the site. The south parking lot and adjacent driveway were also reconfigured and re-paved during this modernization project and on-site tree management removal and thinning was conducted after long standing discussions with adjacent neighbors.
The goal of this project included the planned preparation for a 6-10% increase in student and teacher population. Construction started in June 2005, completed in August 2006, and provided the needed school improvements.
