West Seattle Corridor Bridge Rehabilitations and Strengthening

Project scope consist of removing conduit supports/conduits on interior of the high and low bridge sections to allow for carbon fiber panels to be installed to strengthen the bridges. Once strengthening was complete, Valley reattached conduits to the interior bridge walls. On the high bridge, conduits were added to feed new interior lighting, and we connected power to two temporary bridge cranes on the low bridge. On the bridge deck we repaired 25 conduit expansion/deflection fittings that have failed in the barrier. On the movable bridge section we maintained and repaired the bridge control wiring, as needed.
