Overlake Hospital Medical Center, South Tower

Five-story 138,000-sf hospital wing with state-of-the-art, 40-station ER department over four floors of underground parking was completely integrated into a fully operational medical campus. Upper floors include high-tech surgical suite with six operating rooms, 32-bed CCU, 36 acuity adaptable beds and (36) medical/surgical beds. Complexities entailed extensive pre-planning for early procurement and phased work, infection control, major renovations of existing buildings, fully integrated MEP systems, re-routed utility infrastructure and on-campus roadways. Project was designed and built for four floors of future vertical expansion.
