Green River Filtration Facility

The Green River Filtration Facility is located on 100 acres in the Green River Watershed and has the capacity to filter 150 million gallons of water a day. The facility features (2) 1,500 KW, 12,470 volt Diesel engine generators that supply the plant through state of the art paralleling switchgear. The power routes through miles of on-site duct banks. The plant boasts SCADA interface control through all actuators, pumps, Motor Controllers, VFD’s, ect and is locally controlled via HMI’s (Human Interface Machine’s) throughout the plant. The facility can operate and function as a complete stand-alone facility without the utility company.

JOIN THE TEAM

The Sound Transit Operations and Maintenance Facility East project won a 2022 Build America Award in the Design-Build Civil Category. The $236 million, design-build project is a new light rail operations and maintenance facility that accommodates the inspection, service, maintenance, storage, and deployment of 96 light rail vehicles and includes 14 service bays, a LRV wash facility, yard storage, materials storage and handling equipment, parking, and office space for administration and support staff.
