Astareal – Astaxanthin Algae Plant, Phase I & II

A micro-algae-based biotechnological manufacturing plant for the production of natural astaxanthin. This $30M plant uses photo-bioreactors to cultivate micro algae to produce the astaxanthin. This 59,000-sf facility is located on a 10-acre site in Moses Lake, WA. Moses Lake offers a stable supply of pure water and renewable electrical energy, two resources that are critical to the success of the new facility. GMP (Good Management Practices) Certification. Scope included: Generator/Paralleling equipment, low voltage, miscellaneous systems, tight electrical, and street illumination.
