A 6-story mixed-use building, includes 5-floors of type V construction over a type I podium. Also called the 412 Barclay Broadway apartments, the five residential stories have approximately 118 units over a concrete podium at ground floor. The building also includes a large bicycle storage room, a fitness room, a rooftop amenity space, a 6,500-sf retail space, and two levels of underground parking. The building houses and serves the large captive population associated with surrounding medical institutions. It anticipates future development patterns at the south end of Broadway and Yesler Terrace, and realizes the potential of this location as a catalyst for future development. The project design accommodates reinforces its location as a transportation hub and celebrates the pedestrian Scope: Valley’s electrical services included new 4000A, 208v SCL service, combination of commercial conduit and MC cable, residential romex wiring systems, and emergency responder 800 MHz DAS system installed in garage.
