The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Light the Night Walk brings light to the darkness of cancer by funding lifesaving research and support for people battling cancer. Family, friends and co-workers gather together to celebrate, honor or remember those touched by cancer. Registration is free, but walkers were encouraged to raise funds to support the mission.
On October 27th, Valley joined over 1 Million people walking in 140 walks across the US. We started at the Seattle Center, lit our lanterns and walked for Blood Cancers.
At the Valley Electric booth, Joe Tremblay and Adrian Eggleston brought their light making kits to teach children how to make their very own light.
